TOM X WOLFE, a Gabon-Canadian multi-genre music producer and record label owner based in Brooklyn, NY. With a handful of hits on radio and heavily spun on international broadcasting channels, my sound became notorious in Gabon and across certain parts of francophone Africa through the afrobeat song “Matrice”, co-produced with Mr. Eazi, for BGMFK’s debut album "2417" released (as a lead single) and distributed by Universal Music Africa in 2018, which became an instant sensation in the clubs. Much like peers such as KAYTRANADA, or legends such as J-Dilla, I'm taking the producer-driven approach to creating, promoting and releasing my own records under my independent label “Woodlum Records” to take control of the narrative and tell my story through carefully selected songs filled with meaning and substance.
